The following have been tested for SATV ROM 3.x.
Latest boot images based on L4T24.2 for external SD card, USB drive, internal EMMC and internal HDD can be downloaded from:
I used a SATA extension cable to test different HDD/SSDs (see photo), the results are below, i.e., SSD and internal eMMC are more than twice as fast as SHDD.

I made a recovery image form the L4T-R24.2 kernel and boot it on SATV-PRO. It boot into the kernel and hang.
You can try boot images from the link in my previous post or add "CONFIG_ANDROID=y" to "tegra210_defconfig" and rebuild kernel....
I'll just keep an eye out for the boot.img. Then try if anything works. :)
I have 5 boot images in the following link with device name as part of the file name, for SD, USB, Internal EMMC, and internal HDD, e.g.,
boot_mmcblk1p1.img for SD card....
I confirmed that both SATV 3.x and 64 bit L4T 24.1 work after replacing dtb from L4T 24.1.
