Oh man... I'm really annoyed to have to do another clean install for being able to install the latest updates again. :mad: Why can't we stick with firmware 5.0.8 until upgrading works correctly... :confused:

7 years later, here is the answer: The current bootloader version can be checked by running the command getprop ro.bootloader in a terminal app or an adb shell from a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window.
