I'm having the same issue on Oreo. I came here looking for solutions for this. Seems LMT pie launcher just stops working. The pie menu comes up, but all the buttons have no effect. Turning LMT off and back on again (in the app) makes no difference...
Same here. A lot of apps are force closing (Chrome, Facebook, FB Messenger, OneDrive, to name a few), some won't open at all. Facing similar issues w/messaging, YouTube & camera... Logcat attached...

laperry1, I had to deal with this error long time ago, but I think it might have been due to binutils 2.27. Recompile uber with this patch applied to binutils. It should work. https://git.linaro.org/toolchain/binutils-gdb.git/commit/?id=3d3424e...
