Yes. Instead of booting from internal memory, the cpu will boot from the external sdcard. Make sure you prepare it correctly however. The sdcard must be the 32GB+. Take a look at this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345860 ...

Yesterday I flashed the latest TWRP onto my T280 and then flashed Magisk 16.0 and it works. It seems like we no longer need to use the special pre-rooted boot images on the T280. https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=442878...

The first one we will be able to boot will probably be the i9505s Android n. Right now it doesn't work on mine. Then soon after cm14 will come out for it, then a few others. I might Mike a tweaked cm14... but I'm not sure.
