@veyka You've already tested nandroid restore? It work with no problems? I guess will be some problems to restore older restore point made with CWM 5.x.x.x... Oh... Nandroid restore (with my last backup made a darn month ago!) worked for me...
last question; my bootloader is still locked; can I still move into the beta channel, or must your BL be unlocked first Mine is locked, and I'm on the beta.

I struggled to find a kernel that worked (already on 5.0.1). Racer (recommended somewhere in this thread) didn't. In case anyone else has the same troubles, the one that did work for me was Chainfire's, but in the form of this TWRP/CWM flashable ...
