Apparently all Oreo roms have this adb issue and no one seems to be able to fix it . I've heard from a kernel dev that must be something kernel related, some issue on ramdisk. un uruguayo! siempre me alegra ver gente del mejor pais del mundo je...

The default android "messages", however this applys to all apps not just sms. Nothing gets a number or a dot. And yes it is turned on in settings I have no issues at all with notifications... maybe try installing Nova? Sent from my Samsung SM-G...
