I think the shallow hibernation is a true hibernation, and the normal mode is like, kill the app and put a gun in the face of anyone that tries to ressurect it.

For clarification, the Cº is selectable. It's just a safety measure.
All devices get pretty hot, especially after gaming.
But any usage make the battery get 5~10Cº hotter than the ambient. If you take out of pocket, it's 33Cº...
If you start charging it at almost any temp it stays in this temperature.
