Country of production does not guarantee you will get a bug-free phone. I do accept, that China or Vietnam made phones are from the latest batches, but knowing the exact date of manufacture is a better way to pick up the latest copy of GNex to pro...

Just checked the "apply from USB drive" option. Attached a flash stick to the phone, entered that menu item, and, WOW, got all my files on the flash drive! BTW, it's a FAT32 formatted. So, it seems me, there's a new and easy way of applying OTAs ...
