A heads-up, "night mode" was completely removed from 7.1
Francisco Franco updated his Franco Kernel Updater app with a "night shift" feature for his kernel, it works really well if anyone is interested.

Agreed. The dialer will call a number but you can't interact with it, hang up etc. Running 12/25 nightly.
