Instructions:
1. Make sure you're using the required baseband (miui6)
2. Update recovery [Recommended -> TWRP for ferrari ]
3. Factory reset if coming from another ROM.
4. Install ROM
5. Install GApps (optionally) [Recommended -> Open GApps (arm64) (7.1)]

Nothing, its just rebranded, the boot animation, and naming of the rom is changed, its same as cm 14.1

Can you tell me best rom for mi4i with good performance and good battery life and least bugs

I like te CM14 it's actually quite good but since I use camera a lot I find the issue of low mic sound important. Does this have the same issue?

Cm14 is working very well.
Haven't tested others yet so not much i can say, sorry

No, only Miui roms and CM14.
I quit using Miui roms due to camera focus and wi-fi hotspot issues

Since it's from same device tree, well, I'm pretty sure it has same issues.
For the camera, don't expect to get better quality than the MIUI one, since the driver is proprietary, owned by Xiaomi. If you want best quality, there's no other way than using MIUI.
For the low mic sound, perhaps CM12 doesn't have that issue.

    Lemme hijack this conversation at this point.

    We (and by we, I mean, @faizauthar12, myself, and (hopefully) @Rohan purohit too (who's been afk for quite a while now)) want to use the latest blobs/firmware from the vendor because they are usually up-to-date with *cough* fixes *cough* (and we don't have to deal with "omg your ROM doesn't boot for me, I'm on firmware 8.x").

    My CAF kernel has all the necessary changes to get the device up and running with 8.x firmware. The current sources are based on stock changes rebased onto (an M tag?) by fire855, with mainline upstream patches merged in until 3.10.105 (?), and a bunch of other fixes/optimizations from a _lot_ of different sources. It all works just perfectly and Rohan doesn't want to lose all of that hard work and prefers a minimal patch that _just_ gets the kernel booted with 8.x (this is comparatively easy to do).

    I'm kinda against it (the mainline upstream patches merging, and random fixes/optimizations); not because idgaf about security/issues, but because of regressions that creep in because of them. This is why I haven't made that "minimal patch" yet. It should be fairly easy to fork my source, upstream to 3.10.105, add back all the cherry-picks (which, again, I won't be doing). The only difference with current source would be that the device bringup code will be a lot cleaner.

    What the device maintainers choose to do is their option, but a common ground is to be reached.

    So, what would I like by the time N gets official?
    • (wait for 8.2 global stable) update all blobs to latest firmware
    • ROM is fully compatible with 8.x firmware
    • Vulkan blobs ( N-specific )

    This would help with? MultiROM ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    P.S. Oh, and the wcnss crash thing? Faiz says that the issue isn't there in Marshmallow. So, this may be N-specific. Even kernel/huawei-8916 face this, and reverted back prima which supposedly fixed it. So, a _fix_ will probably be merged in soon. (this is only for the ROMs from Faiz's AFH which have my kernel).
