What can I do? I have one of the worst sot that I know of. I'm on weekly xiaomi.eu but not oreo yet.

Not sure. It's mostly Android and e-mail.

I wish that I could blame only the Outlook app ( 3 email accounts : Hotmail, Gmail and office 365 from work) but I think that the overall consumption is high...

I'm on weekly xiaomi.eu, waiting for a more stable Oreo to try it.

You should try the stable, some weeklys' aren't that good. They're betas...I would try installing stable from scratch and adding as few apps as possible, to rule out software problem. If after a clean (even fastboot) install of the last stable .eu rom, with minimal apps things don't get better, could be a defective battery. Or the outlook...

I'm quitting my job next week, so bye bye Outlook!!!
Maybe I should try a stable anyway.
Is there a Oreo stable on xiaomi.eu yet?
Since I will do a clean install, better get the latest update already.

Nope, still in beta. Last stable marshmallow (8.1.x.0) is the best in the battery (and GPS) department anyway,6+h should be achievable. Last stable Nougat (9.5.1.0) is still decent with battery and, well, stable and has some new bling.

I don't think I want to go back to marshmallow...
If I did a fresh stable nougat install and restore most of my apps via titanium it would do any good or the titanium backup recovery will screw the clean flash?

not bad..but i think its caused more by MIUI 9, i ve tried xiaomi.eu, global TR, MIUI PRO and global stable and global developer oficial..3h30, 4h maximum ,same apps ,same usage.. android 7 and android 8 on developer versions..its the same..im gonna try MIUI 8 and Lineage OS to see if the problem is not my battery..maybe i need a new one.

Holly sheep, how do you guys get 5+ SOT? I can barely make it to 3 hours with any rom, (been on resurrection, linage and now on miui 10) is there something im missing? I've even changed the battery and no difference.

I've had 6+h sot for a day's usage with MIUI 8. From MIUI 9 onwards, it went to 3-4h

I've got 4h sot with 20% left on lineage 16 with firmware 8.8.30 with location, sync and auto brightness on. This is the best combo I've used on mi5.
