I've tried many different camera2api enabling techniques but none work so far.
What am I doing wrong?

Steps that I followed.
1: Unlock boot loader
2: Install ADB Platform tools on PC
3: rebooted into Fast Boot with command: adb reboot bootloader
4: Loaded TWRP using command: fastboot boot twrp.img
5: Install the zip file from the first page. - got successful message.
6: Reboot
7: Test - camera2api not enabled - cameraX fails to launch - force closes

NVM:
Installed it using Magisk after flashing Magisk with TWRP and then installing the zip with Magisk manager

Hi guys,
I have unlocked and rooted my xiaomi Mi5 and, after that, I tried to install the Gcam.
Bad idea: Gcam didn't work (black screen and the aborted after 10 seconds).
Therefore I uninstalled it but now the standard camera app doesn't work too.
And all the apps using the camera now don't work.

Below 2 errors with an Arnova and a BSG Gcam, it seems that both of them don-t find the camera app___

Gcam 5.1.018 Arnova:

Could you please advice on this?
How do I perform a rollback of all settings and files in order to have my camera working again?

Many thanks for you help.
Jack

I'm using PE10 rom. I tried to do astrophotography with GCam_7.2.010_Urnyx05-v1.9. But it doesn't work. I have enabled the astrophotography in advanced settings and it shows 'astrophotography on' in night sight. But when i try to take picture, the exposure only lasts for 3/4seconds and the output is also horrible even when mounted to a tripod. The night sight itself is broken. I even couldn't make the night sight work with the built-in gcam in this rom. But when i give the same apk file and settings to my friends' phone(realme 3 pro, redmi note 8 and one plus 6),the gcam worked perfectly and took 4 min long exposure astrophotography and it looked awesome. My question is- Is it the rom's problem? Or is mi5 incapable of astrophotography? Heck the built-in gcam's night sight also doesn't work for my mi5. Tried many gcam versions, non of the night sight worked. What should i do? Change rom?
