It is not a standard MIUI Feature, it was probably a feature of the ROM you were using previously.
I'll add this to the feature wish list

As for Polish, I could not find any public Russian github Repo

If your device is laggy at or just after reboot, this is due to Magisk in combination with stricter SELinux policies under Oreo.

You can resolve this issue by setting SELinux to permissive mode using this Magisk Module:

If you have security concerns, read this thread. To sum it up, root is already the greater security risk.

Can't install the rom

Hi there, I am coming from LOS 15.1 and I tried to install this rom and I followed the steps but when I'm trying to finish the start up, it says the updater has stopped and then goes back to the previous screen. This is right after terms and conditions and it fails there. Could you please help?

What do you mean "updater has stopped"? TWRP? If yes check your file if it's the write zip to flash or take a picture of a problem.
