Thank you sooo much for your awesome work!
Will the removed exposure adjustment effect snap only or also gcam? I mean becouse Gcam uses HAL3, which could give the possibility...?
Will that effect night mode and iso selection?
Thank you!

Flash the kernel.
Give it a opportunity.

exposure adjustment is the driver name of dc dimming method in havoc.

so it's not related to exposure on the camera 😊

Hello @okitavera. Did you limited charge speed on your kernel? Charging feels slower on xiaomi.eu 9.7.18 with your kernel than on stock global.

No, I don't limit the charging rates whatsoever

I'll checks the source code later, maybe there's something that I can do about that (either porting again from other similar devices if there's something missing from the sources that released by xiaomi for this device)

Indeed, I can't live without camera too

I can't, our kernel is already have EAS (How EAS helps make the Google Pixel the fastest Android phone) like schedutil and blu_schedutil, so we don't need old schedulers like that

Hello

Did you already use the latest kernel (v5.2) ?
I already bring the 100% camera drivers back from Xiaomi at that version.

I'm currently using this kernel on xiaomi.eu 9.7.18 and it works well like before.

Try to clear your gcam data and cache, and make sure you're using the specific gcam for this device.

Also, notes for everyone.

Camera2 API libs on Mi 9 SE doesn't support LEVEL_3, so don't expect for a perfect Google Camera experience.

Besides, the libs that provided by xiaomi already had several buffering issues, so it was a mess by default.

And don't forget that Xiaomi.EU is just a modified MIUI China Dev, which is not considered "stable" by xiaomi itself, and it uses private-yet-unpublished kernel source code.
Hope you guys understand that situations
