I guess you have to re-apply Camera2API after the update. Without it none of the GCam mods will work.
Please don't take it as a complain. Finally I can do selfie in a 49 based rom. However I can't access gallery and the phone gets blocked. I have to go through gallery app.
That's a quick fix for the auto focus issue. You can't do that when the app is crashing and won't even open. He clearly says the app is crashing. That means as soon as he opens the app it crashes. That's coz his previous setup to use Camera2API has been reverted back to it's original state. So he has to re enable it. But then he'll have the auto focus issue. But at least the app won't crash.
Unlock the bootloader enable camera2api and lock it back, easy

The original OS with pie. I use GCam_6.1.021_N7P_test1.3. And yes, I have the green tint issue. But camera2api is enable and unchanged even after the update.
There seems to be problems regarding focusing with other gcams. But bsg-test-8.1 works.

Everithing works. Unnistall gcam, reboot phone, install SerJo87 mod. Done!!!!

Last Updated 2019-04-0810It took me full week to test Gcam mods and my conclusion is that bsg-test-8.1 is the most stable on Pie, with no green tint on front camera (except on portrait mode) and auto focus works as it should (except on night mode, sometimes become unstable). Although, HDR isn't working at all.

Yep... That's why I use both versions together.
In 6.1 you get night sight, and a better HDR quality overall, but only useable in 9MPX (otherwise autofocus doesn't work in pie). And you lack slow motion, HDR on front camera, full resolution pics.
With v5 you have full 12,6 MPx with autofocus and HDR (using portrait mode and setting HDR enhanced on/disable zom/disable smartburst), also slow motion camera works with sound (Not even the stock cam app has sound in slowmo), and selfie/front camera works with HDR (if you use selfie cam you'll notice v6 takes either blurry or greenish pics in front cam). This version has a scoll manual focus also, so you can take HDR enhanced/macro/etc setting focus depth manually.
Its up to you, if you are ok with a 9MPx cam with great HDR/low light quality and you dont use selfie/slow motion, v6 is enough. In my case, I just use the v5 to take bigger pics in good light / exterior conditions, and playing with slow mo, but my main choice is v6.
On a side note, there is a version of v6 with scroll focus partially working (last san1ty one for poco), but its too much work for me having to set the focus manually for each pic. There is also a v6 with slow motion cam working, if you feel you really need that... back_rider for nokia 7+. Just disable HDR when taking selfies.
Also, I've adapted the Camera Patch module for Pie and 4.9 kernel-based custom ROMs. Look for it in the Magisk repo.
