Isn't more easy just wait a couple of days?

Consider the advantages on not being in the first batch :

In case there's a serious bug (like the ones bricking the phone) you'll won't cry, and likely you'll update to a more polite release.:D

Ok I'm just kidding, c'mon Xiaomi hurry up...

Sent from my Xiaomi Mi A2 using XDA Labs

Thanks bro, VPN works fine/correct

:good:

Can you make a little tutorial video for this method? This would be great. Thanks

Edit: Nevermind... I did it thanks to your description

It worked just fine for me a few hours ago, thanks a lot (I'm in Brazil, btw). I tried a similar set of steps yesterday but I didn't remove the sim and didn't turn off location so it didn't work. I've noticed that digital wellbeing is not showing up in settings (the wellbeing app is installed). Am I missing something?

For wellbeing needs only pie9 (android one/pixel) install & reboot...

It didn't work for me, and I've followed every step. I dunno why, tho ?

Today I did the whole procedure and when the upgrade does not appear, enter fastboot mode

fastboot -w

remove the device chip

fastboot reboot

you have to do all the procedures very fast, and when you turn on the device immediately turn off the gps in the settings bar and install the vpn

Thanks... It worked after downloading the app from apkmirror. The app was already installed in Pie, it just didn't show up on settings ://
