With the factory charger it charges pretty quickly. Usually less than 1h 30m from 5% or less. And I notice the phone doesn't heat up too much either.

With the stock charger , it's charged after 3 hours it's normal ?
Not normal... 3 hours would do for 2 full charges with the OEM charger. Make sure your charger and cable are in good condition and properly plugged in.

Can anyone recommend a good QC 3.0 cable. I hava a carcharger of Ravpower and use the factory cable proveided with mi A2, and e starts to Heat very fast.
I don´t want to have a melted cable, so i need recomendations of a good cable. because i find cables saying that are QC 3 from 2 to 15£ (2.5€ to 18€)

The phone ships with a quick charge 2.0 charger. The phone supports 3.0 and also 4.0 for India markets. Mine is Malaysian so it's 3.0. With the stock charger, it takes 1 hour 20mins + to get fully charged. Not too bad. With a QC 3.0 charger (Using my mi max 2 charger) it takes about less than an hour to get fully charged based on estimates. Charges quite quickly to 70% so the stock charger is actually fine.

How Much Time Did it Take To Full Charge Mi A2 With Quick Charge 4.0 and the Quick charge 3.0?

I did yesterday a test charging with the standard charger and with a 3.0 one (for comparison).

The results were... well, disappointing.

Standard charger: 100 minutes (1:40 h)
Quick charge 3.0: 101 minutes (1:41 h)

With that progression I expect quick charge 4.0 (on India) to be 102

Something is not right, my phone gets fully charged if I use my Anker QC 3.0 charger in 45 mins, regular charger takes 90 minutes.

Hi, I bought new Xiaomi car charger ver. 2 (model CZCDQ02ZM) to support QC3 on Mi A2.
When connected a Mi A2, on the locked screen rotate "charging / slow charging / fast charging"
after a while, it stays at a different value each time, but the phone still charge only on voltage 5V.

I think this may help you. When you turn on screen, the device restrict the charging speed at 1000ma. When you turn off screen, the device will be charged quickly (mine is 1800ma). This issue also happens to samsung s8. I hope the developers will create a kernel with quick charge support even when the sreen on. Like mi a1, that device does not support quick charge but the developers can increase the charging speed up to 2400ma.

Someone use Blitzwolf BW-S5 18W Quick Charge 3.0? I have it, and only charge 840mA, while the factory charger 1730mA.
This Blitzwolf charge Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with 3140mA. So I don't understand. Blitzwolf charger incompatible with A2 or the A2 is defective?

How can I find out which QuickCharge version my A2 supports? I own the global version.

If it's the global version, it should be QC3.0 . QC4.0 is only for India if I am not wrong.

My A2 unit is behaving quite strange, first let me say that Ampere is not so reliable as a USB power monitoring device, which I have (this unit gets you also the voltage which is being supplied to the phone).
MY measurements (with supplied USB-C cable) are:
    - Stock charger: 1,6A voltage 5V
    - QC 3.0 charger: up to 2,4A voltage 6,5V
    - QC 2.0 Charger (works with Asus Zenfone 2 and Galaxy S8 on quick) - sometimes ZERO - just shuts down after a minute

Other 2A 5V chargers often not more than 0,6A (depending on cable)
So, A2 is very sensitive with cables and charging electronics and probably cannot accept 9V.
    Global version.

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Xiaomi Mi A2 can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
