Got out of fastboot, went into recovery to install the new update and rebooted. Now my screen won't stop flickering.
Was using an older version of the same ROM earlier, tablet randomly switched off and was stuck at Lineage OS boot logo so re-installed newer version of 14.1. It boots now but can't get rid of that flickering issue.

Good ROM but having problems with audio cutting out mid game...Hope developer can look into and fix..

Incorrect thread for comment above which was for 15.1 LOS.

Going to try 14.1 this evening.

Used to have RR 5.8.5 but had touchscreen issues. Hoping the latest 14.1 fixes this with the updated Synaptics drivers.

My MiPAD was running LOS 14.1 (Stock BLOB). I wanted to flash this LOS 14.1 (shield BLOB)
I took after November ROM (03.11.2018 ) from this thread.
Followed instructions for after November ROM's flashing
My tablet works perfect now !!!

Now coming to my question, i didn't flashed "BootBlobs-SHIELD-mocha.zip" it was mandatory for after November ROM's ????
if it was mandatory how my tablet is working now??
is "TosForPSCI-0.1.zip" is alternative for "BootBlobs-SHIELD-mocha.zip" ?

I remember the day when i flashed my MI-PAD for the first time, i flashed shield blob and tried to install stock ROM.
Telegram group helped me to recover my tablet from that soft brick state.

Any reply?

If I install the rom and flash gapps and flash MAGISK and reboot to system and then make my sd card internal storage will magisk corrupt my sd card because in the XDA thread for magisk it says not to install it on a adoptable storage but I'm not doing that so is it posible

No I don't think there will be an official los build because the mi pad 1 is already at the end of its life cycle

The latest version of LOS 14.1 is the best custom ROM I have used. All good. Thanks to the developer for persisting with this device and keeping it alive.

My experience of other ROM's:

RR 5.8.5 had intermittent touchscreen issues.
LOS 15.1 had intermittent audio issues. with unreliable in game audio.
RR 6.2.1 had no touch functions when installed though it uses the same source code as this ROM. No idea why.

Nvidia Shield tablet is still getting update (same hardware as on MIPAD)
That mean the device is still capable...still time is there......

read the requirements for an official build and ask yourself if its posible...

To make it easy just rename the file recovery-03.11.2018.img to rec.img and save it to the adb/fastboot folder.

Put your mipad into fastboot mode and connect to PC.

Then open command prompt window in the adb directory and type :

fastboot devices

Hit enter and make sure your mipad device ID is showing. If not you haven't got the correct USB drivers you need to install them and repeat above till the device ID is shown.

Then type

fastboot flash recovery rec.img

Hit enter and all done.
