REMINDER

If you're having issues and want to submit a report (Logcat) please make sure you are reporting from the stock kernel, not a modified kernel. Modified kernels can break or fix, even improve things. It depends. I can't get a full clue of the issue when you're not running the original kernel.

Translation files of CypherOS
https://img.xda-cdn.com/IszlI5J7hjTrHd1ElNUOO-NNkO4=/http%3A%2F%2Fcypheros.co%2Fimages%2FCypherOS.png

Anyone want to translate in their own language some strings of the CypherOS options, you can download the attached files, translate the strings and send to me the translated files via private message.

How to translate:
  • To facilitate translation download Notepad ++ program from here

  • Example translation:
    <string name="reset">Reset</string>
I translate only the part in red
    <string name="reset">Ripristina</string>

  • Translation with accents to avoid errors, example:
    <string name="apostrophe">example of apostrophe</string>
I translate only the part in red and before apostrophe add \
    <string name="apostrophe">Esempio dell\'apostrofo</string>

  • Additional content in the strings, example:
    <string name="cypher_version_summary">CypherOS <xliff:g id="version" example="3.0">%1$s</xliff:g>example</string>
I translate the part in red and leave everything else unchanged
    <string name="cypher_version_summary">CypherOS <xliff:g id="version" example="3.0">%1$s</xliff:g>esempio</string>

Trying to test this out, but initial setup is hanging up at "checking connections". Tried open gapps pico 6.0 and slim mini 6.0. Same behavior. Clean install both times.

Edit. Apparently it was not happy with a shaky mobile data connection toggling in the background behind my Wi-Fi. Pulled sim card during setup, seems OK now.

Setup crashes when attempting to set pin security during setup process. Skipping security allowed it to continue.

I fixed the system UI crash this morning, will add to next build. I thought I had fixed the sound & notifications one. Guess not, thanks for the logs
