What ROM and which build are you using this kernel with?

Should I Upgrade to Android 6.0 and R24.
Currently I am using MinimalOS 5.1.1 and R14 without any lags, only sometimes a loading time of few second in task switching appears. And once a week random reboot. What improves I get from the upgrade to R24 and 6.0? Battery survives for the day with moderate use.

Well i tried this version http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=453 for a while and is good so far in CM13 nothing to complaint. But there's a way too dim the screen brightness? Because in the stock rom the minimum brightness is darker than the minimum in CM13. and in a dark room i noticed a lot.

You can try a xposed module called "Minimum Brrightness".
Here's it: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.s...imumbrightness

Uh-oh... So now the Ramdisk mod isn' working with the latest CyanPop (v5.9, 08/03/16) anymore. The CM boot image (which was the one that worked before) sends it into bootloop, and the AOSP image removes root. (and re-rooting with SuperSU doesn't seem to work very well...). Maybe the latest CyanPop changed the ramdisk size? I dunno. Anyway, one more data point for the dev here...
