This function is a prerequisite for night light, which is broken on pie for montana (apart from that, no: the calibration feature from nougat is gone)

The rom is very good, congratulations!

I'm using this rom on my G5S since yesterday. I notice that this rom is super fast, I guess it's smoother than the oficial one. My battery was going low too high today, but I saw that the feature "listening now" is the main problem with it (so turn it off for don't have problems). I'm missing the ambient display so much. Can you solve this?

For people who wants to install, here is my bugs reports after 10 days using this rom:
1. FMRadio not working, "Not currently available"
2. Night light not working (You can use third apps to fix)
3. Ambient Display in Moto actions not working too (You can enable Hand wave and Disable Pick up to fix)
4. Screen Off in Moto actions not working
5. Grayscale in Digital Wellbeing not working
Except these items, all is working good for me in Build 3/02.

In 07/02 build there is no Navigation bar I don't know why, but you can use 03/02 build, or in 07/02 build you can use Fingerprint Gestures only

you can follow below instructions:
For those who have the problem of the navigation bar does not appear in the Pixel Experience, please do the following:
Root your phone
Open Root Explorer
Go to system/build.prop
And add this:
qemu.hw.mainkeys = 0
Reboot you will get Navigation Bar

Just some tips for those who are having issues with the StatusBar:
- You can edit build.prop without root, just boot the device into TWRP, mount System and then do "adb pull /system/build.prop" in a new CMD window. Edit the file accordingly, if you want to enable CameraAPI2, then find the 'Camera' section and change "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=0" to "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1". To fix the StatusBar, as many have said before me, add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" anywhere in the build.prop file, for the sake of organisation, I put it in 'HWUI'.

- For those who are saying that the "Swipe up on home button" option has disappeared from 'Gestures' in the latest build, it's because you need to either add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" to build.prop before actually booting the ROM for the first time, this is possible via the formentioned ADB/TWRP method.

OR

Do a data wipe after editing build.prop, so clear 'ART/Dalvik Cache', 'Data' and 'Cache'. When the ROM first boots you will have the StatusBar, then you can just go into Settings and enable "Swipe up on home button" in 'Gestures'.

I hope this helps anyone who is having issues, let me know

That's not what I meant, what I was trying to say was, install the zip via TWRP but don't reboot, stay in TWRP and then use ADB to pull the build.prop, edit it and then push it back to /system/.

Bug

On 02/07 version I can' t save videos recorded via camera, even if I enabled the camera2api. I also tried with the Gcam v1 for XT1794 but I had the same result
EDIT: SOLVED, it was my fault because I also added a line that prevent other apps from using camera2api, including the stock Camera
