This is the thread for LineageOS 15 to the Moto X Play. LineageOS is essentially a continuation of the CyanogenMod project.

Device does not boot. Stuck at boot logo. Any fix available or do we have to wait for an update?

1. Plz do not post any most awaited files before proper test.

Unable to Install: Error 7
Tried to install using TWRP (I'm currently running AOSPExtended) Seems to think the ROM is for the wrong device.

Downloaded 20170908 and tried to install but ran into the same issue. I'm using TWRP 3.1.0-r1.

I edited the update-script to allow a null device name ie. "" and was able to install. Looking forward to the next build.

I tried it although it installed after showing the bootloader warning it just went to the fast boot screen without showing any boot logo whatsoever. Guess there is a reason why this isn't public yet.
