Changing ROMs
Hello and thank you for the great job.
I have a dual SIM Moto Z with a Chinese ROM. I use the English option, but I am thinking about replacing the Chinese with EMEA ROM. Can I just download and update my device with the one provided here, or the process is different? (I have never done so on any android device). Also, is it a good idea in the first place to change the ROM to the EMEA?

Hi everyone!.
Today I tried to flash the official ROM back to my Moto Z after having spent months with a RR ROM, I followed each and every step and got the "OKAY" message in every one of them, but when I restart the phone, it gets stuck in a screen with a circle saying "Erasing", then the phone reboots and I'm shown that screen, over and over again.
What am I doing wrong?. Thanks a lot in advance for your time and attention!.

Wipe cache etc. And then try power on.

I tried RETBR/RETEU/RETUS and all works good. But software channel still retcn for my phone. Because I have Retail China phone.

I think all informations of your device are :
adb reboot bootloader ( or with the device powered off, hold Volume Down + Power )
fastboot devices ( to verify your PC finds your phone )
fastboot oem device-info
Now about my problem :
I can not unlock my bootloader. I have problem with USB debugging. I make it ON.But
after any restart USB debugging on developer options allways OFF.
Can i flash any firmware ( on recovery mode ?) , to flash it as zip file ? is that possible ?
Because i try with mfastboot ....... i get error , because of USB debugging i think.

Hi I have same question as previous - which ROM could I use on XT 1650-05 ? My phone is from Gearbest - I'm not sure if it is China ROM (build number is OPL27.76-51) but it has all languages, Google Play etc - unfortunatelly Gogle Pay is not working so I started to look for right ROM or/and Magisk

You've probably got the Moto Z Force, which has the shattershield (shatterproof screen).

Edit: It seems pretty dead over there. I assume your device is Verizon locked, if so you will need a proper Verizon rom to flash it, using fastboot.

I`ve tried a couple of Images I stumbled upon and figured out, that if you flash the RETBR Rom, it get's recognized as RETEU and even uses the RETEU Softwarechannel for OTA's. Flashed it and was getting all the necessary Updates (3 or 4, I reckon) until the very last security update with no problems at all.5
