I greatly appreciate the help of all helping voices (no, I don't hear any weird voices yet).
Great thanks goes to erfanoabdi and vache, without their help there would be no Moto Mod support.
Also much thanks to the LineageOS team, ResurrectionRemix team and the XDA-Developers portal as well as their(/our) community.

Used Source code:
Device Source Code: Device Tree
Kernel: Kernel Source
Vendor Tree: Vendor Tree

Added commits:
Moto Mods: Battery Mod efficiency support (updated one patch to make it compatible to RR)
Moto Mods: Audio Mods support and .so files (modified a little because of differences to source)
FakeSignature Patch: microG support

Code:
It is your decision to use this ROM,
so I am not responsible for any
unforeseen consequences, which
includes jumping and hiding phones.

Should you try to make me responsible for this,
you will probably see this face...

Hi , just tested the ROM . Very promising and almost perfect for me . Almost , because I seem to have echo when called , but this is on all 8.1 roms .
So back to LOS14.1 ...
Should there be an answer to , RR is my thing .

Are you trying to install it on a Moto Z (NOT play or force)?
Does it work if you install via TWRP?

I think I ran into the same error when I was trying to flash with an outdated TWRP. Update to the most recent version and try again.

I already wiped the device, what is the smartest way to flash TWRP now?

Download the .img file to your computer from https://dl.twrp.me/griffin/
Boot your phone into TWRP and copy the .img file onto your phone.
In TWRP tap Install and then down the bottom right of the screen you should see "Install Image".
Tap that and flash the new TWRP .img file.
You should be good to go after that's complete

I just flashed via fastboot. I dont know why, but i was (from day 1) never able to mount the internal storage to my computer to transfer ROMs and Images. That's why i always sideloaded ZIPs when flashing ROMs.

That sounds like a driver issue. I found a guide about fixing that once, I'll see if I can dig it up. Are you on windows?
How did the install go with the latest TWRP?

Edit: I had that issue before. I had to install the drivers from http://download.clockworkmod.com/tes...riverSetup.msi
and then manually install my phone as a "Google Nexus ADB Interface" in device manager.
