Let's reverse engineer a POGO charger. (With a used pogo cable I just bought)!

So I just bought a pogo charger from ebay.

With it, I was able to bring back my nexus 10 that I once thought was dead for sure.

I think it's ridiculous that the nexus 10 didn't come with a Pogo charger,

even if the micro usb charger takes 10 years to go from 0 to 10%.

I don't have much knowledge on how to reverse engineer this, but I have tools and access to tools.

So my proposal is, if people can help me, we can create a DIY POGO charger for anyone who is still using this tablet, including myself.

I found this old thread: https://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2024366&page=4

From user onoakino:

"Yay! With the tablet lying on it's back, counting from the left-most, pin 1 is ground, and pin 4 is 5v. I used a USB cable from an HP mouse that I had lying around and connected black wire to pin 1, and red wire to pin 4.

Nexus 10 charges! Hurray! "

Seems it's symmetrical (which makes sense given that the charger works in either direction). So at any given point it's drawing voltage from just one of the two 5v pins (I'm not technical so I also have no idea what I'm talking about).

1-Gnd
2-1.21 VDC +Data
3-5.25
4-5.25
5-1.21 VDC -Data
6-Gnd

I've seen the first post, but I haven't seen the second. It's good to confirm both posts says the same thing.

I'll disect my charger in the future and post what it looks like, so we can make a block diagram for it.

I bought a new battery. I have been using it for 1 year, it won't charge and the tablet won't turn on
