No big deal but there's old incall dialpad remaining. Looks kinda weird when the regular dialpad is brand new KK while the sliding one is still holo style. Taste thing, not a deal breaker.
I am actually positively surprised that we got a decent update within so short period of time. I would never expect anything bigger than few mb of bugfixes to be honest.

Why are they still using launcher2 instead of launcher 3? Makes no sense to not put the default AOSP launcher in the newest version!

GEL is a nexus 5 exclusive. Launcher 3 is in aosp. Launcher3 looks like GEL, but it's a stand alone app and doesn't have search integration. Launcher 2 looks like ICS which is what we got

Yeah that's why the launcher doesn't have transparency. It was written for jelly bean not kit Kat. But luckily my favorite launcher,Action launcher has all the essential kitkat upgrades, ie transparency, new app icon, dot seperator etc. Still this fragmentation of the nexus line is annoying.

Anyway the lock screen transparency sounds nice but overall doesn't sound like there's much reason to run to my PC and sideload it, think I'll just wait for the ota this time

Don't know, *but* the Exchange Services app has been updated (to 6.1-926649).
