Thanks again.

Nova launcher can do that. I am not sure if you need the prime version or not though. Either way it's a great launcher and worth it.

Go into nova settings

I use nova prime myself. It can replace icons, but not in notification bar.

Can you explain with more details as to what happened? You didn't give us much information to work with.

I believe it is recommended that you wipe your cache/dalvik before flashing new kernel though (won't lose any data). You may also want to wipe your battery stats post- flash if checking battery performance under new kernel. I defer to the experienced folks though.

Nope, not needed. I can't remember exactly why now (either kernel flash does it, or data in there is unrelated to kernel, or both), but usually it's not needed. If experiencing problems, then it's worth a try, but it's unlikely to change anything.

Oops I thought it would put the counter up on the status bar icons. I know it was built into AOKP on ICS. I haven't run any custom Roms on jelly bean so I can not verify.

Just got this phone today, and one thing I gotta ask is why aren't my Picasa Web albums syncing with my gallery? My gallery is only syncing pictures I just auto uploaded.

Ok here's another, is there no gallery shortcut anymore from the camera?

Edit: never mind, figured it out, swiping does the trick
