Installation of todays (20161201) build wont have enough space on /system to flash nano Opengapps, reports about 15MB missing Space. Pico works fine (both 20161201). Wiped data, system, cache and dalvik before.

yes it seems to have messed up - I got the boot loop to TWRP problem again doing CM 12-1-16 update today using built in CM updater.
So I had to use the reflash to stock method I mentioned earlier .

If you guys interest there is a changelog in here.

---------- Post added at 11:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:34 AM ----------

When I was on unofficial CM14 I had the boot loop back to TWRP only problem.

I fixed doing this
I followed these instructions to restore to stock 5.1.1
http://xdaforums.com/nexu...e-rom-t3084656
Then flashed CM 14 again following original post instructions exactly.

I was last using StephanMC unofficial 14.1 and just flashed this official CM 14.1 latest nightly over it and had no problems. One thing I always do now after flash I wipe davlik cache before I reboot. ( I think not doing that may have caused bootloop problem possibly in past .)

Anyway this is working fine for me - thanks
Is this solution permanent or after every ota update twrp bootloop appears again?

i used also pico gapps to avoid problems with system space. But after it i installed gmaps, chrome, gmail. So is there a risk when i update only the new cm nightly, that system space is too low?
Wouldnt it be an option before flashing the new nightly, to delete system and then flash cm + gapps again?

There is correct way for resolving issue, please write about it here https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/173328/ when this will be merged issue would be solved for good.

I'm not taking any chances, for now I manually flash the nightlies and wipe cache/art cache

    F.A.Q.
ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???

First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"

    Why no nightly today?
    Build failed. Check again tomorrow

When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)

Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.

The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Does wifi hotspot work for anyone? I'm on the 20161210 build and get error when trying to enable. Logcat shows nat issue, something about device not available.

It is also not working with 12/11. Just for the records.

Same problem like @r00t4rd3d. Booting to TWRP only

Solution is like wrote @houchang1991, work for me on update 12/7, after hit this commands, i get a statement like, "not enough space" but it works. Its good idea to copy this post here, so:

Start up Terminal Emulator from TWRP.
Since its showing a file browser, hit the select button - bottom right, now you can enter command lines.
Enter commands EXACTLY as shown (please read disclaimer below).

    Code (Text):

    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota

Hit enter (return)...wait, takes a few seconds
    Now input this

    Code (Text):

    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc

    Hit enter (return)...wait again.
    When its complete, reboot.

Would you mind sharing your solution?
Yeah, OK. Found it on my laptop, then moved on and lost the link. But its here:
    http://androidforums.com/threads/twrp-bootloop-fix-after-update-ota.922585/
There are 2 ways out of it, I copied all the commands into a (twrp) terminal window.
PS. I'm on the 30/11/16 nightly, and it's good...
