Its an app that alters your host files to block adds in other apps and in the browser. Requires root. Have been using for years.

they are very similar. but ive been using adfree on all my devices since 2009, so im pulled more toward adfree.

By using this, does it makes the ads completely gone or leaves a blank page where the ads were? I've never tried any

No blank page... Just the streamed ads are blank.
