You can use flashfire. Or directly through twrp selecting flash image and then boot.img.

Hey @stratosk, good to see you here! I'm enjoying your footey camera on my nexus 5x (premium user ofc), once I can run your kernel on it as well I'll be delighted!
I did use it way back on my sgs1 and never stopped following your work, hope to see it compatible with cyanogen in the future.
