Well, the "fix" is easy. cpu4 and cpu5 go offline when the battery temp reaches ~31ºC. If we disable core_control on the thermal driver, they won't go offline, ever, but they'll stay throttled to their lowest cpu frequency. Then the little cluster won't start throttling until the sensor reports 70ºC on the cpus (not battery), and they basically stay at 960MHz indefinitely if the CPU temp stays hovering around ~65ºC. The device is a bit warm to touch, but not that much. I can almost safely assume we can disable core_control without any damage prevent major performance hit.
