MTP is checked. The Nexus 6 only shows up if I check PTP.. Which isn't ideal

The mac is pretty recent for me so, I am honestly not too sure how to go about that using a mac. I've done some searching but most people have just used emulators, so I haven't found much about terminal.

Worked like a charm, all I needed was twrp and this had that option. Thank you for this, you made my day!

cant get unencrypt to work I used flashify to flash the kernel provided root_kernel_shamu_lrx21o_noforce_encrypt.img then rebooted into recovery and in twrp did a factory reset, but once phone reboots its still shows in security that it is encrypted. Am I missing something? Not sure if it matters, but this is an AT&T Nexus 6. One other thing I was wondering is I see /oem folder with what looks like boot animation for ATT can that be removed? Really hate that damn boot animation.

Thanks for any help in advance.
