Indeed. Without wireless charging there's more to choose...And that is where mileage will vary. I never used wireless charging and don't care if the device has it.

Did some research about Nokia.
When I forget the wireless charging, then the oneplus 6 is a candidate for replacement of my N6And that is where mileage will vary. I never used wireless charging and don't care if the device has it.
In the Netherlands Pixel devices and devices like Essential are expensive or not available. The specs and the price of OnePlus 6 or 5T are acceptable.Sure, if you want to take a downgrade in screen quality and deal with an accursed notch. Why settle for an inferior screen from a company with "never settle" as a slogan?
I am not claiming..., With 'replacement' I mean another device.I understand where you are coming from, as I know price is a major concern when you're getting new devices every two or three years. The OP6 is an alternative, but anyone claiming that it is a replacement for a Nexus 6 is clearly smoking some good stuff.
The 6P is of course the N6's true replacement, with all the baggage that comes with having that device. I'm glad I passed on that POS.
Agree, screen about the same as Moto G6.Comparing the OP6 to the N6 the OP6 should be the clear winner. But that screen? Unacceptable. OnePlus doesn't figure into my buying decisions because they can't be bothered to use a flagship-level screen on an otherwise flagship-level product.
Several screen resolutions.
Moto G6: 2160 x 1080
Nexus 6p: 2560 x 1440
OnePlus 6: 2280 x 1080
OnePlus 5: 2160 x 1080
Nokia 8: 2560 x 1440
iPhone 8: 1334 x 750
Galaxy s8: 2960 x 1440
IPhone X: 2436 x 1125
Huawei p20: 2240 x 1080
Pixel XL: 2560 x 1440
Pixel 2XL: 2880 x 1440
(Width 1440 = price > 700 euro)
(Pixel XL price = ~500 euro)
Agree with you. Looking at the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the specs. Maybe I want to pay more. But..... It's unbelievable; a phone with such a high price. The bootloader can't be unlocked..... One thing for sure is I refuse to pay $800 + for anything...It's a phone ....

Probably Hmd Global doesn't realize that the ownership changes when people buy a device..... But none of this will ever change until we hit them where it hurts the most...Their bottom line.
@Ivan - thanks! Sounds promising And yes - N6 is still holding on, just I've dropped it. Still has life in it though.
Which ROM do you use?
I'm looking for a replacement, including wireless charging.I'm failing to find a replacement for my N6..
.....Any thoughts ?
No financing options where you are? I ask because financing through Google is how I got my P2XL.
