Google Assistant for the Nexus 6P

Old patch for NBD90X
WARNING! Be sure you're using STOCK NBD90X System Image before continuing.

Method 1 UPDATED (Working, no bugs)
The patch is simple, just replace your build.prop with the one on the link:
http://wamod.ml/xda/nexus6p/opa/build.prop
After replacing the build.prop wipe your data.
If long pressing the home button stills opens Google Now be sure you have the Google App (Velvet) updated (6.5.35.21 or newer), or wipe your data and try again.
Known bugs:
- None

Known bugs:
- Stock camera crashes
- "There's an internal problem with your device" dialog on boot.


If Google Assistant is not showing up you can try wiping the Google app data too.

are there any adverse effects by changing the device name to Pixel? I'm asking because in the past with other non Nexus devices doing this would cause issues with the play store and such.

how i do it? i just replace that file but only have a bootlop with mi nexus 6p with stock NBD90X

I did it pushing the file via ADB on TWRP.
Check if the file is not corrupt, if it's on the right location (/system/build.prop), or the permissions are right (644).

I didn't push using adb but I used a filer manager and did the rest of those steps and all I get is fc

Are you using stock NBD90X from the "Factory Images for Nexus Devices" site?

Also, I did a clean install. Try wiping data.

volvi a pasar el archivo por file manager, reinicie a twrp, hice un wipe data y quedo en un bootlop, algun consejo??
