The 4 year model, I got 2 years ago, battery was draining fast so concluded battery old. I replaced the battery it was easy.

Used this video

It's not to complicated, you just want to make sure that the new battery matches the same capacity as the old one, that's in the spec sheet. Also there is a handy tool to diagnose a faulty battery, just buy an usb mobile battery tester, that shows mah. In order to get a proper reading tho you have to change the device when the battery is completely flat. then plug in a usb mobile battery tester, and wait until its fully chaged and it should give you a reading of your true battery capacity.

How is the battery backup now? Would you consider it original part?

7W4 means 2017 week 4 in stock replacement battery. The first battery that was installed doesnt write anything on but obviously it was manufactured before
July 2013.
