Wait. I'm not sure if I have understood. Is the processor overclocked or not on beta? BEcause on KA the maximum is still 1.3ghz.

this mod is compatible with all custom kernels unlike original version which uses its own kernel so you can flash one

Sadly, AFAIK there is not a overclocked kernel for 6.0.1 (for now).

That's unfortunate. I don't know how to compile one and my computer is really low on space (128gb ssd). Try pming a developer

Tested with the other n7 I have . Installed and rebooted as supposed to do.
Unfortunately didn't resolve the issues of bt headset sound shuttering because... It can't! Seems I'm not the only one with this issue and not only with a nexus 7 2012 playing real racing 3.
To confirm this I've installed asphalt 8, another high demanding game and the audio is just fine.

The script did endeed something. On my 6.0.1 rom aosp based the system seems a bit more responsive and the multitasking is better. Please consider I'm on f2fs for data and cache, trimmed every day.
