The goal of this to me is voodoo profile 1 because I loved the colors before 2.3.3, they were more saturated and vibrant and voodoo fixed the greys.

The colors in ogdobber's kernel look more washed out to me and I don't like messing with the color sliders.

Thanks for the kernel. Was looking for something like this. Enjoying the color fix immensely.

Well done

No it's not that hard if you're good at following directions and need the following :

Linux 64 bit OS
-10 GB of space
-Download about 4 GB of data
-Git hub account
-Some knowledge of using terminal
-The kernel's source code you want to edit has to be up to date on github to compile the latest version.

I can help you if you're interested

Is this kernel working with 2.3.4 rom ? sorry for the noob question (I've seen a "pre 2.3.3" but is it the result or the compatibility)

No, so just reinstall Ubuntu 64bit or install another Ubuntu on a separate partition with about 20 GB.

Follow this guide to setup your build environment. Then I'll give you the rest of the steps to compile a custom kernel with pre-2.3.3 voodoo colors. http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-m...el-source.html

Or if you don't want to do all that, just tell me what kernel you want to modify and I'll do it for you.
