Which Rom/Kernel would you recommend to get the best battery life on D720 (NS4G)? I am running stock right now and would love to improve it.
Also any of the ICS roms stable yet? Thanks fellas.
Uuuuuummm where are the Modems/Radios ? i didnt believe this beauty had poor service till the other day i bought one.. STILL IN LOVE, yet very frusterated with poor wifi connection (old vibrant was full wifi on the couch) and poor data/browsing speed,1-3 bars, whereas the vibrant would be 3-4 (ALWAYS) on the same cusion... ive been looking and not surfacing much, are other people still dealing with the poor connections ?? or have i got a rotten apple? (no pun intended)
?
I've been using Gummy for a couple days now after trying several ICS roms and I like it the best. I'm using it with matrix cfs 15 and my speed and battery life is great. I specifically created an account to say thanks but I can't post on the dev forums yet, so it'll have to wait.the gummynexus rom seems quite stable, i haven't given it a full day yet though.
i've gone through phases of trying all the latest ics roms and finally going back to gingerbread because i didn't think they were ready for prime time. gummynexus s 4g is as close to ready as i've seen.
try it with this kernel: . i think it's eugene's kernel for the regular nexus s compiled to run on the ns4g. euegene's kernel is based on stock with some enhancements iirc, including voodoo and ezekeel's various awesome patches.
Glad to see we are getting things organized with the influx of 4G users.
Could someone please post a copy of the stock kernel? The link in the OP leads me to a site that will not allow me to register so that the file can be downloaded. Thank you.
