Man I wish. Go edition is ver 8, in order to get go edition we would need a super hack to be released, something that supports drivers from 4.1. Its unlikely but id love to see it.

This would be an utter waste of time for any user or developer. In my experience android go really isn't much faster, even on devices where Stock AOSP 8.1 is sluggish and laggy. It's a scam really. Expecting Oreo to EVER run well on a 512MB ram single core device is lofty if not delusional. Your best bet is to either port Sailfish OS and set that oom kill threshold REAL conservatively, or enjoy 4.4.4

You aren't missing much, if anything android has gotten worse since KitKat.
