Im using a samsung 32gb with a 16gb img flashed on it. Took about 5-7 mins for the "lineage" image to load and go into "Setup"

I was then able to choose my wifi and im now in the "checking for updates" screen where it's been for the past 5 mins or so.

SD card type definitely plays a part in loading times as it runs completely off the SD Card, I am in the same position I've just tried a 16GB SanDisk 10 (UHD I) but took about 30 minutes to boot, so trying a 128GB Samsung (UHD III) I had in my Chromebook to see if its any better.

Can anyone recommend a jig off of amazon? I'd rather not mess around with a paperclip.

MTP in TWRP does not work,
MTP/PTP in Android does not work,
FAT partition is not visible in Android, also it's too small anyway,
OTG in handheld does not work, so I'm unable to copy files from pendrive either.

So what's left? USB on dock, or transfer via network, right? Anything else?

Okay, just tested. USB on dock works with mouse, but not with removable drives.
That leaves us only with copying via network.

After flashing image with Etcher, windows doesnt recognize SD. Windows Partition Manager shows the SD as unallocated space. Tried to just go ahead and run hekate, and hekate failed to mount. I'll try flashing image again, but any other ideas?

What's weird is that this exact SD card worked flawlessly for L4T but can't boot this

First boot can be fairly slow, if you ever flashed a ROM on any other device you know that. Boots after that are pretty quick depending on your SD card Also sorry if I can’t reply to all posts, the day has been pretty high action
