I just thought this would save time for many.

That said I'm happy to remove that tip from the list if others are having issues or are confused. On that note, the moderators or switchroot devs can feel free to delete my entire post if it's distracting from the main purpose of this thread. My apologies. I was just trying to help others new to the platform.

Also, English isn't my first language so please excuse any missteps in my attempts at using directive speech.

Yes, but it doesn’t work for most if not everyone. Instead what happens is the Switch hangs on a black screen.

Could you give instructions?

You're right. If it doesn't work for everyone then the tip has no place on a list for newcomers to the platform. It'd be misleading at best and irresponsible at worst if that tip stayed on the list. So I'm removing it from the original post.

Thanks for the feedback everyone and apologies for any inconvenience. We're all learning by doing, esp a noob like myself.

I had the same problem but I installed Magisk and then Netflix installed just fine. Here's some info on Magisk:

https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-magisk/

However, if you don't want to root your device I believe there's another way to install Netflix - I think it was mentioned in this thread some pages back.

Edit: Here it is:

Can you upload your boot.img?
That would be great!

I would suggest a good Samsung card over anything else. I have tried a few different cards myself and some were absolutely horrible by comparison.

Also download the Pico Gapps as its way less bloated and makes the whole system much snappier.
