They were active on here before the release because the build was basically already done days before release & they were only focused on fixing deep sleep which they failed to do. Before that they were silent. They are silent now because they are working on Pie and once it's close to being ready for release they'll probably become active here again.

Google Play Services keeps stopping, and when I try to log into my Google Account, it just goes to a black screen. What should I do?

I'm not on Discord and don't intend to join it. If someone is willing to copy and paste updates from the Discord channel into this thread, I'm certain that a lot of us would be extremely appreciative. I, for one, am curious as to what improvements Android Pie 9.0 will have over what we currently have on Oreo 8.1. Is there an ETA as to when the developers think they will be able to release the next beta update?

I haven't used Lineage OS much lately and don't intend to do any more testing, especially if we're moving into another version of it.

We aren't getting much more than what you've seen here. Gavin_Darkglider, CTCaer, Bylaws, and the others are still working out deep sleep. They also say they have a fix for the analog inputsThat should work on pie, and reboot to payload is seemingly mostly working. Also they are testing pie in private as Bylaws posted a pic on discord of his switch showing version 9. They also do work on L4T Ubuntu so there is that going on as well. So there is the "discord update", but I'd highly advise checking it and the gitlab out yourself at some point especially if you want to keep up because they are quite active there. Plus it would be better to get things from the devs themselves rather than me or others... Also eta's for update requests have been met with "eventually".

This is great, thanks for the summary.

I hope that they fix the dodgy touchscreen inputs too.

That was something Gavin worked on I think. He pushed a commit on gitlab that was intended to fix some of the issues, but it was still bugging a couple of testers. Pie may fix it further. That is all for discord updates.

Why is the hos_data partition accessible in TWRP but not in Android? I followed the GBAtemp guide on resizing hos_data partition and I was hoping to move my Android apps to it since the userdata partition only has about 3-4GB of space left. Also it would be nice to share it between Horizon and Android so I don’t have two separate partitions where one would be taking up space on the Micro SD card but isn’t being used.

I've found this to be not only useful, but simply fun. One hints has plagued me during this journey though. Long story short it's been over 10 years that I've got to replay Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, I purchased and Installed it from the Playstore but the license check fails every time. Before I attempt a refund, anyone know a work around by chance? Please and thanks guys! (GeForce NOW even works, but my license error number is "0400000")
