I've just installed Android on my sd card for first time, booted into hekate, more configs and selected Switchroot but it stays in black screen and nothing loads.... My sd card is Sandisk 128 gb. Anything I can do?

@Neo_123, try again. Android should start booting in about 30 sec. If it doesn't, try again and again. To me it works once out of 2, but sometimes it needs 4 or 5 tries. It might be a 128 GB issue.

It's been discussed numerous times, but for whatever reason SanDisk cards do not play nice with this Android build or the switch in general. If you have another card try using it. It's not an issue with the 128gb image because my 128gb Samsung Evo Select U3 card boots in about 30 seconds consistently...

Yes, they're working on it still. Please see these two very recent posts -

I've finally got Android working. It appears that the problem wasn't my sd card. I installed Android again on my card and it worked the first try. Before that I tried ten times and it didn't work. For some reason @Gabri3lZ 's script didn't do the installation correctly the first time but it did the second time.

Yeah, it does. But it seems that the installation is still a bit buggy since, as I said before, the first time I used the new version of the script it didn't install well.

People like you really should have your posting privilege banned. To lazy to use the search feature, to lazy to read.

Everyone else: Please indicate what brand sd you use when you report boot problems. Especially SanDisk cards can be a matter of luck. I personally exclusively use Samsung and never had an issue with flashing or booting from them.

Well it would seem that folks on the XDA forums here are a bit luckier than those on the discord. But even Hans is suggesting that SanDisk cards are being problematic. Gavin_Darkglider, myself, and others have all had issues with legit SanDisk cards using switchroot, so it's not exactly uncommon. Even in HOS my SanDisk has corrupted 3 times; twice as a FAT32 format and once as exFat...

Your corruption was probably do to user error. I've been using a 200gb SanDisk formatted exfat for over a year & have had no corruption.
