Just discovered that it cannot be charged while running android... Then realized that this is a known issue and that it actually charges though it doesn't show that its charging.

For a period of time, I was able to access the fat partition on the microsd by entering a folder named "externalsd" or something very similar, but for some reason after i've installed apps and rooted with magisk I lost the ability to see/access that folder at some point in the process. I can't even see it at all in ES File Explorer now even though it worked just fine before.

I have added a flashable zip to the first post that enables L3/R3 clicks and reports the sticks as analog. That should help in games like GTA. Thanks to @gavin_darkglider1 for building it!

Very easy, I just flashed the lineage0S arm64 supersu zip from here:
https://www.cyanogenmods.org/root-li...roid-oreo-rom/

after that goto developer options, enable root for adb and apps.

Hmm. Thanks, but I was on the discord channel and I kept seeing people mentioning using magisk to achieve root....

RetroArch seems to have Issues with the JoyCons. Will test the fix-joycon later after Updating RA.

How is USB Connection going? Transferring content is a serious pain. If Users could Access the Unallocated portion it would work great. So far the USB Connection is just a 'PI USB to Serial', which I have no idea about.

EDIT: oops I think this may be fixed! thanks!! Im testing it out.

Thanks! But there is one issue these joycons have all their buttons mirrored (they are acting like a ps3 controller of sorts) A btn= B B btn=A I can fix it via gamepad remapper but I have no idea how to make a flashable zip to put in the proper keylaout. I request if you can remap the buttons to normal HID/Xbox controls. Also the Dpad is detected as an Axis, this can be edited too, so that games like Rockstar games GTA max payne that support normal controls will detect analogs and dpad correctly.

I'd recommend magisk as well, just go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...less-t3473445, download the latest stable version and flash it in TWRP

I finally made it through all these posts. I just wanted to say great work on this. This is an amazing first release. Wanted to mention that the thumbsticks aren't working on the Pro controller.

Nope, it fails Basic Integrity and CTS Profile Match. The only thing I flashed after creating the sd card was the Shield-ifier and the L3&R3 fix on the front page now.
