What process are you following, on what device/variant, and what version os are you comming from?

ODIN version also and I assume everything passes?

As much as I liked this rom and using apachi's theme with it, I'll have to say you will find https://xdaforums.com/note-4-tmobile/development/rom-maximum-ovrdrive-v15-1-1-t3196653 to be more active and it does have tether mod along with being more current.

Just try a fresh clean install after you flash rom flash kernel without rebooting ... try v7.2 if v7.3 doesn't work

There is also apocalypse rom. If you need any resource files for theming look at carhd rom theme in the s8 forum as it might help or pm me and I'll get you my stuff.

The note 7/8 rom ports along with other ports are nice but WiFi Calling and VoLTE don't exist. S8/Note 8 tw launcher along with many other apps have been modified to run on MM and LP for the record.

I was on 4.2 version and it was all good i clean instaled 4.2.9 and theme afterwards im all set as far as phone goes no fc everything seems to oerate as it should but my google is not syncing my contacts it shows sync is on i click to sync it finishes but nothing loads up what can i do to fix this ty

    • Download rom and or theme and place on SDCard. N910W8 USERS MUST HAVE A KERNEL TO FLASH AFTER INSTALLING ROM.
    • Reboot Device and enter recovery by holding volume up + power + home button
    • Make a backup of current ROM
    • Factory Reset from wipe menu is preferred.
    • Goto advanced wipe menu, WIPE system, cache and dalvik cache!
    • Do it one more time just in case :)
    • Install Rom.zip. DO NOT FLASH ROM AND THEME AT SAME TIME
    • Reboot device ( allow up to 5 minutes for device to boot to Setup wizard).
    • Wait 5 minutes to allow device to settle.

    Q. What is a clean flash?
    A. Clean flash is as follows....
    Boot to recovery
    Hit wipe
    Slide to factory reset
    Back out
    Hit install
    Find zip
    Slide to install
    Reboot
    This deletes everything except data. You will have to set the phone up again. All your pics and sounds and downloads are safe and will be there when you return.

    Q. What is a dirty flash?
    A. Dirty flash is as follows...
    Boot to recovery
    Hit install
    Find zip file
    Slide to flash
    Reboot.
    This deletes absolutely nothing, no wipe needed.

    Q.What happens when I wipe data?
    A.While in recovery if you select the "Wipe" button, you will then be taken to a screen with three options. Here is an attempt to somewhat clarify those options.

    1. Swipe to Factory Reset - This is the most common way of wiping, and what is most commonly used for installing a new ROM. This option is considered a "Clean Flash".

    2. Advanced Wipe - This option is used to specify partitions to wipe. It is generally okay to select all options here EXCEPT "Micro SDcard". This can also be used when doing a "Clean Flash".

    3. Format Data - Deletes the contents of SD card, including pictures and music.

    Q. Somethings are acting strange, is there a easy fix?
    A. Boot to recovery, hit wipe, now hit advanced and check the cache and dalvik cache box's ONLY! slide to wipe, reboot system.


    Q. Where can I find the add-on'?
    A. In Rom Control

    Q. My battery life isn't very good, how can I find what's going on?
    A. Download "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Then if you are still confused, take a screenshot and post it.


    Q. Why is the home button is not turning on the screen?
    A. There is a toggle for it in Rom control, under hardware keys.

    Q. Is off topic discussion allowed here?

    Q. How do I check apn settings?
    A. Settings>Networks>More Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names
    From here, you can reset to default by hitting menu/reset to default

    Good evening everyone. It's my last night of work and I have a very busy time coming up with friends and family. If I don't make it in here before Christmas,
