This by far is the best rom out for the TMobile note 4. I have Verizon so can't test any of the cellular and data but as a WiFi room for me on this phone it's fantastic. I really hope that the dev continues work on this! Would love to see Oreo brought over!

I installed kernel adiutor fast usb charging is checked but on lockscreen still shows slow charging ,does this kernel support fast charge?

Late to the party. Loving this great rom after deciding to ditch stock from my sm-n910w8. No problems so far.

Is there a way to increase the incall volume? It's a wee bit low for my liking. I know about the kernel adiutor sound setting as well as the v4a tweaks. I'm looking to edit the mixer-path.xml settings but can't seem to find what I need to do.

Thanks to anyone with advice.

Installation fails

I've tried to install this ROM several times and it fails every time. I have a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 (N910T - Tritetmo). Any help will be appreciated. The ROM seems incompatible.

Update:
I followed the instructions to unzip the installation file, edit the "updater-script" file, rezip everything, and retry. It failed again. I'm currently running LOS 7.1 without any issues, except phone call quality (dropped calls, etc), which is the reason I'm thinking of switching to RR.

Confirmed working and quite stable might i add on COG2 baseband.. OLD. Stable as hell.. Everything works fine.. Maybe runs a little hot.. But coming from beanstalk.. Camera fc.. Flashlight fc... Random reboots.. This is heavenly. Thank bro for a wonderful rom! My wife is so much happier with her phone now!

just want to know a few things:

1. as far as i can tell, v5.8.2 is the highest version for the t-mobile variant (N910T). However v5.8.5 is the most current version for the European (N910F) variant. Will this work for my device? Have the sound issues with this variant been resolved? What are the differences between the two versions?
2. Is an upgrade to Android Oreo (8.0-8.1) in the works for this device?

To add to your questions, what security update is included in this v5.8.2? I'm more concerned with having an up-to-date phone running a security build within the last 3 months with all the vulnerabilities out there. I'm thinking I have to buy a new phone which sucks because there is nothing wrong with my N4. Just bought a new battery for it, and it's rock solid.

WiFi and cell connection drops

I'm getting some serious connection issues with WiFi and cellular signal. Drops randomly where stock works normally. Anyone else with this issue? Resolution?

For this ROM, you want to have "ARM" selected. This ROM is android 7.1, and you can choose from multiple variants. My personal favorite is Nano since it allows me to use the "OK Google" feature. Pico is the barebones Google Apps package that allows you to have the Play Store (also smallest file size).

I just tried to flash R.R.N-20170811-tretetmo......(I did a clean install 3x wipe) & it flashed but I couldn't hear anything making/receiving calls. can someone assist plz?
So I'm running R.R.N.5.8.2-20170411 that vs is working fine Y can't I update to R.R.N-20170811 ?

upgrade to the latest Official Samsung Firmware using ODIN, this will update your bootloader and modem and baseband.

Then After you have flashed with official firmware you can then install TWRP and then this rom or another snapdragon note 4 based rom.

Is there any way to pass SafetyNet using this ROM? The Magisk troubleshooting steps didn't help. I'd like to play Pokemon Go. Thanks.

    A brief history

    Altan started the Resurrection Remix ROM project in 2012 with android 4.0.x Ice Cream Sandwich. It soon became the most popular ROM with its original Samsung Galaxy S2 thread being the most viewed thread on XDA-developers for many months. He continued the development of the ROM till android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

    How to flash:
    You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

    This ROM is currently in Beta status. I know there are some issues. If you find something, trust in the fact that I more than likely already know about it and am working on resolving it.

    Network location isn't working so you will have to set your time zone manually for now. LiveDisplay also uses network location so there may be times where it may be in Night mode when it shouldn't. You can either change this away from auto or manually change it or just have it off. It is very rare that it is set to night for me during the day, but has happened.

    SnapDragon Camera is the stock camera. It works, but even though it shows 4K video it won't work in 4K mode, yet. It will tell you if you try. Use 1080p for now, but I'm working on 4K.

    DO NOT FLASH SuperSU!!!!
    It will cause you to go into a bootloop. You are warned!
    Stock superuser does work even if its not our preferred option. Once other issues are resolved I'll look into this. Magisk works

    Luckily I am not easily offended. I make these builds for myself and just share. It can be an aggravating process at times but overall I enjoy it. If anyone wants to come into any of my threads and rant about how the free software that they get from someone that spends the little time that they have has ruined their lives then have at it, it won't bother me. Trust me. If this was a job and I was paid to spend all my time on this then it would be a different story. Take it for what it is, free. If someone doesn't like it or it doesn't suit their needs then move on. It's really that simple. If you refuse to try new or different things because of other past failed experiences then a ROM on your phone is the least of your problems. Just my .02¢

    To my understanding a systemless type of root is the only way to get Android Pay working, but I haven't honestly fully researched it.

    My apologies on my slacking of getting something new pushed up. Life's just been pretty busy. I will try my best to get something up in the next few days as I am sure all your flashing itches need to be itched just as bad as mine do. (ointment won't help these itches) <- saving myself from the jokes
