Regarding performance and battery issues with the Note 4 and Android 6.0.1

I have bought a second hand Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F (European version) that is still on Android 4.4.4. I have read quite a lot of scary things about performance and battery draining issues after updating, so my question is; should I update to 6.0.1?

I would say update to 5.1.1 that seemed to be very stable and no battery issues. My opinion

I'm one of the many that suffered with the MM based freeze/reboot issue and had to get rid of my phone (bought another one second hand) so I'd probably warn you off moving to MM. Fingers crossed, my current model is running fine

Don't go for version 6, the KK roms good for battery. I specifically recommend https://xdaforums.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-kyubi-rom-note-5-t3220106
The best ever I used on Note 4, try to get AEL Kernel for your F model.
