The NVIDIA Shield is a gaming system using the Android OS. The console streams games running off a compatible Windows desktop or laptop. This allows for portable gaming of Steam and PC games. The NVIDIA Shield also can be used to download games from the Google Play Store and NVIDIA's TegraZone store. A PC used for streaming must have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPU, GTX 650 or better. The NVIDIA Shield uses a flip-up 5" display with a controller that resembles an Xbox 360 controller.
