About to go to sleep so check the md5 , if it matches, full wipe & try again, if it fails, restore your backup & I will take a look tomorrow evening..

Love how quick backup and restore is in this beast.

Edit: I am running a slightly modified version of twrp, link below but as always, use at your own risk. Team win and all affiliates will not be held responsible

What's changed in this version?

EDIT: I wonder if people are using the version from the website and not the beta version I posted in the thread . . .

I can't update via ota because of the custom recovery. After a lot of fiddling getting my phone back to stock recovery, I am now unable to flash ota because of my rooted system, I've been unable to un-root. -_-

And do we really need the latest ota update to flash this? As soon as I got my hands on the phone I immediately flashed TWRP, so I'm in a bit of a predicament right now as I can't update via OTA right now...

The main reason I mention the ota is the enhancement it brings, it was pushed to correct over heating issues and enhance the camera s performance

Here is what I am using to go back stock, have tested numerous times.

Re-lock, Extract & run the ARUWizard, this is the guts of an M8 RUU along with the last official signed HTC build.

As always use at your own risk, i have not managed to get hold of an official M9 ruu as yet

Can you guess confirm where your twrp recovery came from please? The failed install is caused by the twrp version you are running

tested it and rom works with the old twrp 2.8.5.0 and your modified twrp 2.8.6.0
if i use the original twrp 2.8.6.0 i get the installer issue....
