Could you say when there will be a new working version of this rom?
And which rom you will support and recommend the most (carbon, liquid or pac man)?

I really can't provide any ETA. Keep in mind that I am not part of the ROM developer crew. I just merge our device tree into their source code and compile it. Still using the same CM12.0 device tree provided by u-ra with minor adjustments. I don't have the time or resources to become a new device maintainer. Will update my repo on a regular base and try to provide new versions, but when the ROM developer changes prove as incompatible with CM12 device tree there is not much I can do unfortunately.

The second question is more a matter of your personal preference, all 3 repos are kept up-to-date for now. They all have a compareable set of features. My personal favorite is CarbonRom, I used it for a long time on my old phone (an ancient HTC Desire Bravo - Credits to spezi77 :good:) it was always giving me the best mix of functionality and features for my own demands.

Which ROM seems best for battery ?

Sent from my One Mini 2 using XDA Free mobile app

I didn't notice any difference. I would recommend governor=interactive, scheduler=cfq in Kernel Adiutor for best performance / battery life. (Kernel Adiutor is not implemented in CarbonRom, just install it from Play Sore)

Haven't tested wakelog blocker yet (available in Carbon and Pac-Man iirc), but I think you can save some battery by adjusting the amount of wakelogs for Google location service. Would you mind testing this for me?

Big heap of thanks for this ROM.

I installed LS about 2 weeks ago and used it pretty thoroughly since then. I don't see any of the issues others have posted here. Great work! :good:

Unfortunately i do see a different problem: My 64G SD Card seems unusable in my phone, only my older and smaller cards work fine. The big card (SanDisk Ultra) worked fine just before flashing Liquid. My prior ROM was Carbon.

I would like to test the interaction of phone and card, but i don't see other tests than booting to recovery (which is TWRP) and trying to partition the card - which fails. The error message was about like this: Could not assign partition to device. Stupid me forgot to write it down.

Is there a way to deal with the card from adb shell? I am not even sure which /dev- Device represents the card, so i kept my fingers from it.
Any hint would be appreciated.
Greetings from the Münsterland!

Indeed, the new version has many issues. Team Liquid is giving me a hard time with all their changes... Last couple of weeks I had several problems building the code, so i was too excited when i finally managed to to build a working version... I've seen it booting, installed a few apps, released it - then I noticed all the issues... Next version will be tested BEFORE I release it, I promise.

Please consider this version as an early preview only. ;)

BTW new version of PACMAN and CarbonRom is on the way. They both have a compareable set of features and I didn't find any issues with them. Enjoy those as a little compensation...
